This lipstick and rouge advertisement caught my eye in the corner of a 1951 Women’s Weekly. The illustration is gorgeous and the copywriting is catchy, it certainly made me want to purchase their lip colours!
The Cashmere Bouquet brand is linked with Colgate brand. Though Colgate is known as a toothpaste brand they introduced the first milled perfumed toilet soap in 1872.
Colgate were revolutionary in the household, healthcare and personal products. They sold the first toothpaste in a tube!
